Mom Advice Monday

You’re allowed to keep growing while you’re raising your kids.

Last week, I sat in a beautiful women’s circle and listened as each mom shared where she’s at, juggling kids, work, aging parents, relationships, and the invisible load that never really shuts off. And honestly? I was so proud of every single one of them for showing up.

When our kids are little, the guilt can be loud.

You never feel present enough.

And leaving, for anything that’s just for you, can feel even harder.
But here’s the truth we don’t say often enough:
You need places where you get to pour back into yourself so you have something left to give everyone else the next day.

That’s a huge part of why The Mother’s Garden exists, to create gentle, welcoming spaces where moms can reconnect with themselves without pressure, perfection, or performance.
I also know how precious those slivers of time away are. So I want to ask you, what would actually fill your cup?
I’m in a season of a little more freedom right now, and I’ve made a promise to myself to learn something new or try something different each week. Here’s what’s on my list, who’s with me?

Garden Club
Hula Dancing
Line Dancing
Sound Baths
Crocheting
Sewing
Watercolor or pottery
A slow, cozy book club
Herbalism or apothecary nights
Candle making
Sourdough or kitchen skills
Creative writing or journaling circles

What are your things?
What would you love to see more of?
You don’t stop becoming just because you became a mom.
