2026 Awake Bodies Teacher Training

Awake Bodies Teacher Training 2026: Why I’m So Excited to Share This With You

I’m so excited to officially share the 2026 Awake Bodies Teacher Training schedule. Every year, this training reminds me why I love teaching Pilates—not just the movement itself, but the transformation that happens when people truly understand their bodies and learn how to guide others with confidence and care.

Whether you’re feeling the pull to become a Pilates teacher or you’re ready to deepen your existing practice, this program was created to support you every step of the way.

The 2026 Training Schedule

I’ve intentionally structured the training across several months so you have time to learn, practice, reflect, and integrate what you’re learning—without feeling rushed.

Mat Training

  • February 28 and March 1

Reformer Training

  • April & May

Full Equipment Training

  • June, July & August

Early Bird registration ends January 15th. If you’re feeling called to this work, I encourage you to save your spot early.

What You’ll Learn in the Mat Program

The 100-hour Mat Teacher Training is the foundation of how I teach Pilates. It’s designed to help you move with more awareness while building the skills and confidence needed to teach others safely and effectively.

Here’s how the training is structured:

  • 32 learning hours of focused weekend training
  • 20 observation hours, including at least 10 live or live-virtual classes
  • 16 self-practice hours to deepen your own embodiment of the work
  • 16 student teaching hours with guidance and feedback
  • 12 applied Pilates sessions through classes and practical experience
  • 2 hours of one-on-one mentorship with me
  • 2 hours of written and practical assessments

Beyond the structure, we dive into anatomy, movement analysis, posture, modifications, and real-life case studies—because teaching Pilates is about so much more than memorizing exercises.

How I Teach

My approach centers on clarity, curiosity, and respect for individual bodies. I teach you how to observe movement, communicate effectively, and adapt exercises to meet different needs—so you’re not just teaching sequences, but truly supporting people.

Throughout the training, you’ll also receive class and studio access at Awake Bodies, giving you space to practice, observe, and feel part of the community as you learn.

Is This Training Right for You?

If you’re feeling curious, inspired, or even a little nervous—but excited—this may be the next step for you. I’ve designed this program for people who want to teach with integrity, intelligence, and heart.

If you’re ready to explore what’s possible, I’d love to connect.
