Mindfulness- Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week, 27-hour, health education course designed to empower participants to take an active role in the management of their health and wellness. The curriculum teaches body- mind awareness practices to assist people living with daily stress and those with physical or psychological related pain and illness.
This program is wonderful for beginners and those with experience in somatic, breath, or contemplative practices. This is also an excellent compliment to those in counseling and or coping with a major life challenge or hardship.

A couple student testimonials:
“Kari’s teaching, her particular ability to hold space for each of us individually and help us grow to our edges with such grace and compassion, was a gift. Her availability and support made the process easier and provided space to be vulnerable. Her non-judgement and acceptance of each of us made it easier to be compassionate with myself. The deep sharing of others in the group was invaluable in my own growth.” –JP
“Kari presented the material in a thoughtful and thought provoking way that provided a safe space to explore myself internally. My anxiety has decreased so much and my ability to get into my mind and focus through things that were once very painful are now very manageable. I never thought I could stop the “never ending thoughts” of my ADHD —to calm down and focus, but now I can and I do.” –SM
